The programme
Onboarding, four blocks, then graduation.
A free training programme for 25 established small businesses, run with the Gordon Institute of Business Science. Each block is two half-day sessions with GIBS faculty, run hybrid: some online and some on campus at GIBS. You leave with a growth plan for your business, pitch it in person at GIBS and graduate with your certificate.

Built for businesses that are ready to grow.

Who can apply?
Established South African small businesses that are already trading, ideally qualifying small enterprises (QSEs) with annual revenue of R10 million to R50 million.
Does it cost anything?
No. The programme is free for the businesses selected.
How much time does it take?
Onboarding in December, then four blocks from January to July 2027. Each block is two half-day sessions, some online and some on campus at GIBS, plus assignments. The programme ends with your pitch and certificate graduation at GIBS.

When will I hear back?
After applications close. We will email you with the outcome by 10 December 2026.
