New entrepreneur launching in September – where should I focus?
Hi Entrepreneurs,
I’m new to the entrepreneurial space and currently building a service and experience-based business for women. It’s focused on creating safe, meaningful spaces for connection, growth, and personal reflection.
I’ve been watching the 2025/2026 Business Model Canvas Summit masterclasses on YouTube (still waiting to watch the Kimberly one), and I’m now trying to move from learning into actually doing.
I’m planning to launch on 23 September 2026, in a season of renewal and new beginnings.
My business is mainly:
Experiences (events, gatherings, conversations)
Community-driven
With some physical products later on (like journals)
I just want to make sure I’m focusing on the right things as I work towards my launch.
I would really appreciate advice on:
What should I be focusing on right now (a few months before launch)?
Should I already start hosting small events before September?
What should I test first — pricing, the experience itself, or my audience?
What are mistakes to avoid with this kind of business?
If you were starting over, what would you do between now and September?
I’m open to honest advice and guidance.
Thank you. 🌻
